In March, 2025 Lynn had her MRes Viva. Thanks to external examiner Clare Harding and internal examiner, Beatriz Bargana.
Lynn has the incredible fortune to be the first student in the lab to receive NO CORRECTIONS after a great viva presentation and round of questions.
Lynn worked tirelessly to design, clone, and use CRIPSR to make Cryptosporidium mutants. We hope to use her strains in a lot of our projects going forward.

Lynn proved herself ready for graduate school and was awarded a PhD position at the Penn State University… home to several parasitologists that we admire. She will do rotations in a few labs and then pick a lab for her PhD project. We are excited to see what kind of science she does next!
Great work and good luck for the next stage of your scientific career and also adventures in America!
